this one took awhile to grow on me but i like it a lot now. i heard one of their songs at the gap. uh oh.
3. The Weight is a Gift- Nada Surf
so good
4. Cold Roses- Ryan Adams & The Cardinals
the best album out of the two he's released so far this year
5. Out of Nothing- Embrace
totally underrated
6. You Could Have It So Much Better With...- Franz Ferdinand
catchier than the first one
7. Waiting for the Sirens' Call- New Order
worth the wait
8. Discover a Lovelier You- Pernice Brothers
they can do no wrong
9. Take Fountain- The Wedding Present
good stuff. i need to check out cinerama now
10. Twin Cinema- New Pornographers
so damn catchy. a great super group from canada eh?
11. A Certain Trigger- Maximo Park
really good stuff
12. Some Cities- Doves
good stuff
13. Gimme Fiction- Spoon
not as good as their previous efforts, but still high on the quality list.

it seems like people get ready for things like this earlier and earlier. i've seen christmas things even before halloween is over.
